About Us

The Little Gin Shack is a dream made real for Neil.. Neil has spent over 10 years working for a major licensing wholesaler. Feeling the time had come for a change, Neil came up with the idea of the Little Gin Shack, a destination retail shop selling a select collection of premium gins and gin ephemera.

The philosophy is a simple one! We prefer that you "try before you buy", and with most bottles open, you are encouraged to sample a small snifter, before making your selection!

.... and we don't just stock gin! we have a hand-picked selection of Cornish rum, whiskey, vodka, wine, ale and cider. We even have Atlantic Brerey's Fistral Pilsner on draught.

Look out for our "Meet the Distiller" sessions too - a chance to meet the brains behind the gin, and sample their selection. These are promoted via our Facebook pages and Instagram - so make sure you follow us.

Neil is a great host and has extensive knowledge on all things gin. The Little Gin Shack is his opportunity to share his knowledge with people face to face whether they are just popping in to buy a bottle or two,to sit and relax in our cosy gin bar, or creating a great atmosphere at our tasting events.

Our Suppliers

Neil has developed close relationships with many of our suppliers over the years and focuses on only selecting gins of the highest quality and flavours. If you ask him about the background to how a particular gin came to be produced he’s sure to be able to tell you the story, and of course, the best way to drink it!
